Seating Dynamics Rotational Footplates
The Seating Dynamics Dynamic Footrest for wheelchairs telescope downward, extend at the knee, and move into dorsi or plantar flexion. A new option allows the footplates to rotate outward during extension. Consider a client when the lower extremity is extended, active external rotation may be present, turning the feet outward. These footplates rotate outward in response to client forces and then return to the client’s starting position.
