Max’s New Dynamic Head Support Hardware

Max’s New Dynamic Head Support Hardware

Max has a tremendous amount of extensor tone in his body and presses with a great deal of force against his head support. This has resulted in loss of alignment of the head support, as well as equipment damage. Here, Max is using his new Stealth Products i2i head support with Glideskin upholstery to reduce friction and short arms modification. The shape of this head support reduces his tendency toward neck hyperextension. His head appears forward as this is where he is aligned in relation to his spine, which has some non-reducible kyphosis. The Seating Dynamics Dynamic Head Support Hardware absorbs and diffuses his strong forces, reducing the level of active extension in his neck and facilitating more of a midline position.
